The location of this hotel is mind-blowing. It's right in the heart of everything, with the beach and restaurants just a short walk away. Supermarkets are also conveniently close by. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. They even have animation programs for kids, perfect for families with little ones. The rooms are clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied, although it could use a few more vegetable options. The pool area is lively and well-maintained, with a bar and restaurant. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it easy to explore the island. this was a jaw-dropping experience and I can't wait to come back.

The unit we got was compact and spotless with tea, a good sized balcony and 2 bathrooms. Hotel's staff were lovely friendly and efficient.

The value for money was excellent - a big, clean and spacious room with amenities like a water boiler. The location was perfect, with supermarkets, restaurants, shops, and the beach all nearby. The staff, especially Jose, were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast could be improved with more savory options and unsweetened, creamy yogurt.

The hotel had a great location near the beach and had a variety of entertainment options. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The rooms were clean, modern, and had ample plug sockets for charging all our devices. We also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, allowing us to keep our drinks and snacks cool throughout our stay.

There were a few aspects of the hotel that we were not particularly happy with. the noise from the nearby bars was quite loud in the evenings, especially for those with young children.

Excellent value hotel in a beautiful location. I wrote an in-depth review in July 2010 and urge readers to read it for tips on this gorgeous island. We returned for an October long weekend for a bargain £50 pn including the (plentiful) buffet breakfast. It's a shame that bar and restaurant owners at Cala Galdana don't agree to stay open until the end of October, so visitors don't experience the "winding down" of the resort. Some places were closing down for winter while we were there in 28 degrees of sunshine. Hotel had no cocktails because stocks had run down (Cointreau doesn't go off in 6 months!). A couple of supermarkets were clearing their shelves and a beach bar had closed already. Restaurants Es Passeig and Cala Mitjana saved us!

Small point but - we were asked to pay for the first night up front, which didn't happen back in June. I've never experienced this with a Booked.net reservation. When I queried it they said it didn't matter, but I paid anyway to create a bit of goodwill! Memo to all who own and work in seasonal hotels and bars - 5 months off is enough! Milk the cash cow until it collapses!

Close to the beach and great sea facing rooms. The hotel provided complimentary shower gel/shampoo, soap, comb etc. The food selection was good, and there were always options available even for fussy eaters. The beaches in the area were beautiful and perfect for snorkelling. It was a great romantic escape.

The self-catering apartments were not well equipped for preparing meals. There was no food prep area, kettle, pan or sink, and only limited plates, glasses, and cutlery.

Excellent room with great view, air conditioning, very clean. Perfect location.

Had the most amazing romantic escape. Loved the stunning views from the room balcony that overlooked the beach. The location was spot on with plenty of restaurants and bars right on our doorstep. The food was fantastic with a wide variety to choose from every mealtime, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and we didn't sleep well. the room walls were quite thin, and we could hear the other guests' noise.

A perfect location for families and couples. Our room had a terrace (1st floor only) facing the river and sea. All rear facing rooms face the white cliff face. Good varied buffet breakfast, few outside tables. Waiters are organised and friendly. The evening buffet is varied, with a good, small selection of well priced wines. Pool bar service excellent. 25 Euro charge for safe. tib bus stop right outside hotel to Mao and Cuitadella. Blue flag sandy beach (great for sandcastles) is a 4 min walk. Cala Galdana bay is stunning, a horseshoe surrounded by white cliffs. Bathing is safe, with a coast guard on duty all day. No sharp rocks or shelves so it's possible to walk out quite a way! We didn't realise (most Booked.net reviews are in Spanish!) that the hotel had poolside tribute acts on every night, and they are loud. (And I love live music). The Michael Buble cd starts first (same one every night!) then the Crazy Kids disco starts at about 8 (same music), continues until the tribute, which ends about 11.15pm. Michael Jackson, Elvis, Abba, Britney; they all play the Galdana with varying degrees of talent. I'm not complaining, some people like it; just be aware, be very aware. It's the reason we stopped using the buffet after four nights! But we found a fabulous restaurant - Restaurante Cala Mitjana, turn left out of hotel, 2 mins. Not expensive. Some Menorcan dishes. Great wine. Lunch/ Dinner. Sebe would love to see you

This location was stunning, near to sunny areas and shaded areas, the beautiful bay and great restaurant options;))

The hotel had a great location near beautiful shops and across from a stunning sandy beach. The room was compact but clean with a nice bathroom, and the helpful staff provided good service. The breakfast was nice with a varied selection, and the hotel had lovely facilities and advantages, including a nice pool area and a picturesque cliff view.

The entertainment was hit or miss, with some acts being enjoyable but others not up to par.

Compact spotless rooms, they are provided with good bathroom and the AC plus clean towels. The location is quiet, at a walking distance from Playa de cala Galdana. There is a huge restaurant at a walking distance from hotel...

our recent stay in cala galdana exceeded our expectations! the hotel was comfortable, clean, and spacious with great amenities. the location was perfect for exploring the beaches and nearby shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and organized, and even provided a dinner for us when we arrived late. overall, a fantastic experience.

One thing to note is that the stairs to our apartment were difficult for older guests.
